SALLY DOLLAR — A graduate of the University of Tennessee (B.S.) and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (M.A.), Sally has worked in the communications and education fields. A member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, she enjoys serving on the auxiliary board of her local library. She lives in Birmingham, Alabama, with her husband and three kiddos. Sally is so glad she decided to take a chance with The Gumball Lottery, her debut children's book.

ABOUT THE illustrator

RORIE SCROGGINS — Rorie works as a pediatric occupational therapist. This calling allows her to incorporate her love of art into helping elementary school students with fine motor activities. She has been a featured artist for Southern Living at Home, illustrating everything from landscapes to pet portraits. She especially enjoys teaching art to children in her spare time. She lives in Birmingham with her husband and two kiddos.
